Frequently Asked Questions - Shipping Policy
Care Instructions:
While dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended for longevity. Wash new pottery with warm, soapy water before use. Avoid stacking in the sink or subjecting to extreme temperature changes to prevent damage.
Microwave Use:
Most of my pottery is microwave safe, but pieces with gold or Mother of Pearl luster are not suitable for the microwave or dishwasher.
Custom Orders:
I do not create custom work at this time.
Shipping Charges:
- Within Canada: Approximately $25 for a mug.
• Shipping to the USA is coming soon. Please contact me for details.
• Additional items may incur an extra cost of $5-10 per item due to larger packaging. I will update you on the total cost if necessary.
Combining Shipping:
Yes! I do offer combined shipping and will refund any overages. In case the shipping cost is significantly higher, I may adjust it and send you a new invoice. Please note that combining multiple ceramic pieces may increase the shipping cost due to additional packaging material and weight.
Local Pickup:
For local customers in the Osoyoos/Oliver area, I offer free delivery with a minimum purchase of $50. Alternatively, you can pick up your pottery at the MudHut. Just use the appropriate tab at checkout to waive shipping costs, and we'll arrange a convenient pickup time.

Shipping Timeline:
Your order will be shipped out between 3-5 business days after purchase, aiming to dispatch as quickly as possible.
Shipping Destinations:
Currently, I only ship within Canada. Please send me an e-Mail for international shipping as I am in the process of adding more countries. Any declined or returned items will be refunded, excluding all shipping costs incurred.
Item Reservation:
Items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. I do not hold items to ensure fairness for all customers.
Damages:
If your item arrives damaged, please contact me immediately with photos of the broken product and packaging to facilitate a refund. Refunds will only be considered with proof of damage.
Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages:
Once the package is with the postal service, any issues like delays, losses, or theft are out of my control. Please reach out to your local post office for assistance.
Refund Policy:
I do not accept exchanges or returns. Please review photos and descriptions thoroughly before making a purchase, as each piece is unique and handmade. Glaze colors may vary in different lighting conditions. By purchasing from Swiss Miss Mud Hut, you acknowledge the handmade nature of the items, their uniqueness, and the artist's dedicated craftsmanship. Of course, would you find a makers flaw I be happy to have a look and replace your item.
